The Disney Event Group brought us a client whose son loves Disney's Club Penguin. For his birthday, he wanted to see Club Penguin's headquarters, here in Kelowna, and dine in an igloo. The plan was to transform the Hotel Eldorado's banquet room into an Arctic environment so TTM Events had a 7' by 12' Styrofoam igloo constructed & placed at the end of a 30' long 'snow' walkway. Inside, an icy white, glass table was set for dining & benches draped with faux fur. Real Spruce trees lined the walkway and were lit with blue LEDs to 'cool' the room off. Half the room was sectioned off with white spandex where colourful northern lights were projected upon. A big screen TV was setup so he and his friends could play on the Club Penguin site & Mascots were there to play games. In the outer patio, 700 jumbo white balloons stood waist high for the kids to play in. It was a memorable & great undertaking!
